Some argue that if it weren't for all the carbon dioxide that we're putting in the atmosphere that we'd be in the beginning stages of the next ice age. Maybe we need to pollute more.
I don't buy it, but when I see four inches of snow on my lawn I start to wonder. . . .
It snowed in April my first year at BYU--at the end of finals week. I remember leaving Provo for LA with a blithe heart--so glad to get away from winter and into some "real" weather and walks on the beach.
Now I'm waaaaay far away from the beach, and I love it when it warms up and then freezes/snows again because the warmth wakes up the bugs and the cold kills them off! Fewer bug bites this summer--woo hoo!
Snow is proof of global warming... You see, according to my calculations, any suspect activity whether natural or man-made, could be perceived as such through the lens of cap and trade which in turn allows those who are too afraid to steal from you in person the guise of guilting you out of your prosperity in order to line their own pockets in the name of "saving the earth" or "conservation" which is such an irony when you think about who is behind the whole "green" movement (GE) in case you forgot stands for "General Electric" who wants the "smart grid" funded by the tax payer in order to regulate your thermostat (at least).... (deep breath) Ohh yeah, how do we produce electricity in America, COAL...... As for me, I'm going to pick up a few of those ultracapacitor batteries and hook it up to a home made wind farm and start saving and collecting my own natural gas so I can stay as far away from "the grid" as possible....
Snow ball's chance in HELL you say?? Which HELL are you referring to? Old Testament? New Testament? Book of Mormon? Pearl of Great Price? I prefer the temporary abode in the spirit world of those who were disobedient in this mortal life as opposed to hanging with the devil and his angels... you know, lake of fire... eternal anguish???
But don't get me started!
(BTW Gerb... sorry about the run on sentences and poor sytax/grammer... I was going for the "ramblings of a mad man" sort of feel....
Chelle!- Did you have to go in and change your outfit? Did you have a winter outfit scheduled for that day? Had you already changed over to your Spring season wardrobe?
These are the things I wondered when I read your comment.
Chip- I did not even understand half of what you said there, mad-man. Which I suppose was the desired effect. Also, I am wondering... did you really use the word HELL (all caps!) twice in my comment section? Dearie me.

Just a little reminder to us all that winter was one here and to now enjoy the nice weather, right?
PJ- Exactly.

Bec- My heart bleeds for you. Waaaaah.
Anaise- That's a good way to look at it. Thanks for bringing out the positive!
