Little Bites of Happiness

(photo stolen from Jason's blog)

Have you ever had a treat that was like putting a little piece of heaven in your mouth? One that could transform a lousy day into a day worth smiling over? I have. They are called Chunk-a-Poo cookies.

Don't let the name fool you. As deceivingly disgusting as they may sound, they are pure cookie bliss surrounding a chocolatey-caramel surprise center.

Did you click on that picture up there and take a look at all the goodness up close?

Yeah, that's what I'm talking about.

It's always a great day when I have myself a nice, warm Chunk-a-Poo with a glass of cold milk.

What? You want some too?

Good luck.

You know how a certain person can ruin a name for you? Well, I think a certain name can ruin a cookie for me...

Bec- If you tried one you'd change your mind... even just the uncooked dough is heavenly. I personally enjoy telling people that I enjoyed myself a nice, fat chunk-a-poo. I'm kind of twisted that way.

Not even fair. What fake out. I am searching all over looking for the recipe and then find out it is only a SECRET??? If she were my neighbor, I would buy them. No such luck. Rats! Maybe I will request you buying some that I buy off of you some time in our future rater training days. Looks good!

You know those chocolate/oatmeal/peanut butter drop cookies sometimes called TV cookies? My sisters and I dubbed those "Gorilla Poo". And I had a college roommate who liked to make a chocolate sauce to go over ice cream. She called it "Poo Sauce". Having tasted both, I have absolutely no problem with the name "Chunk-a-poo" being associated with chocolatey goodness. If you have a recipe to share, bring it on!!!!

Gina- The 'she' is actually a 'he' who came up with the recipe for these. And yes, the recipe is a secret. But I'm sure I can hook you up with some goodness when the next training rolls around... should I bring dough or cookies?

Martha- It appears that we are like-minded individuals in a disgusting sort of way. I like it. As for a recipe... my apologies. It's top secret. But if you're ever in my neck of the woods I may be able to arrange a taste-test.

I read your friend's blog the other day and those cookies look absolutely scrumptious. So, today, one of my clients was telling me that he was going to send me chocolate chip cookies for rescuing his data. I told him that he didn't have to send me some...just log onto this certain blog and get them from him. So, if this random guy from Arizona starts stalking your friend, Jason, it is because of me and I want those cookies!!!

Chelle- You won't be sorry. I may share a bit of my dough when I get it if you're really, super nice to me. Wait... you already are, aren't you? I guess I'll have to make you a little Chunk-a-poo goodness, then.
