I am proud to announce that after 4 weeks of feeling a bit on the geriatric side:
I am still not allowed to put weight on my foot but I feel so much younger now that I'm free of my walker.
I look forward to a future date when I can happily announce that I've graduated to these:
Stay tuned!

Woo-hoo! You'll be back on your rollerskates in no time. ;o)
You mean we don't get to see you shuffle in on your old man motorcycle tomorrow night? And I was going to get you some balloons to attach!! How sad. :D
Oh man...I was hoping to see the walker in action! But congrats on your step up.
All I want to know is if you and your crutches need a ride to a certain party tomorrow night. Because as far as I'm concerned your house is on my way to the party house! And I would love to see that camo cast in person! p.s. I have plenty of room for a baby seat in my car, too...
BTM- Fingers crossed!
Rachel- Maybe I'll resurrect it for a night. Just for the balloons.
Natalie- Trust me, you're not missing much!
Amy- I wish I could. I am so sad to miss it. But the truth of it is that I am fairly helpless and unless Allen goes with me I do not have confidence in my ability to maneuver and care for myself in public - or even among friends. You are my favorite, though, for offering to come out of your way to get me! I'll try to call over there tomorrow night so I can pretend to be there at least.
