As I looked up to admire it I realized that it looked distinctly like a spotlight. I started to wonder - what if it was shining for me, waiting for me to make my debut? And who's watching?
So I sang a line from a song that was playing in my head and gave a little twirl-hip-shake, just in case.
I hope I get rave reviews.

I'm sure you will!
I MISS YOU!!!
Do you have a new visiting teacher yet? I just got an assignment this month, and I must admit...it's been nice to have a break while we've been getting settled.
So did the song that you had playing in your head have anything to do with chasing cars? And I don't mean the "Snow Patrol" version...
(loud applause)
Found you through tip junkie and love your brown bag ideas (although I am a big go green junkie, you do have great ideas!). Cute blog, I will be coming back for my ideas, thanks!
...or did the song in your head have to do with stopping cars?
Or was it something to do with Cats?
(sorry, I just had to do that.)
I'm betting they loved it! I was just looking at that moon. Did you sing Shine On Harvest Moon.
I so love you. I wish that I could have seen the song and dance...AND..be a fly on your wall everyday to snatch these great ideas you have. Good to see you recently. It's just not enough for my Gerb fix.
“May you have warm words on a cold evening, a full moon on a dark night and a smooth road all the way to your door.”
No, I didn't write it. Would have been nice had I done so.
If I remember correctly, it was Van Morrison who once said, "Well, it's a marvelous night for a moondance,
with the stars up above in your eyes."
Dance on Gerb, dance on.

Sabrina's going solo for awhile. I hope you enjoy your new assignment as much as I enjoyed your old one!

At that time, no. But since then? Yes. Something about cats and honey, too...
maleen-

Welcome, and thanks for the comment!
ablackman-
oh, you are SOOOOO funny I forgot to laugh. (remember that one? I'll have to use it more.)
julie-
Cats is one musical I am a little creeped out by. I can confidently say I was NOT singing that song.
shellie-
It was actually this line: "...the mooooooon is shining in the sky. Reminding me of so many other nights... but they're not like tonight"
gina-
Maybe we should request more trainings? Nah...
tchn5th-
It's always a marvelous night for a moondance. I just don't take advantage of it enough.
