Playing Catch Up

Well, I am home. Back to the land of crisp autumn weather, a colorful landscape and every child in my home infected with the cursed Swine Flu. (I wish I was kidding.)

Welcome home! Glad you made it back safe. It's no fun coming back to sick kiddos though. Hopefully they get over it soon.

Wait a second...you're saying the other day was Thursday? How am I supposed to remember when Thursday is, if you don't remind me to head over to your other blog?!

Seriously, though, I missed you. Welcome back.

WELCOME BACK! :D

So, the kids really do have the flu? I am so sorry! But, on the bright side, THEY WILL RECOVER - and - the flu must have reduced the amount of energy with which to make messes while you were away! :D (Just being optimistic about the possible blessings involved... he he)

I do hope they all recover very well and very soon!

Welcome home!

Sorry your little ones are sick. What are the symptome of swine flu?

2 of my little ones were sick this past week - viral throat thing. Looks like streap but isn't.

How to teachers do it? They live in the germ capitol yet show up every day seemingly well.

Hope everyone gets well soon!!

I have one sick right now (just a bad cold) and I'm on tenterhooks watching for signs of an epidemic, and you're in the middle of one . . . I'm sorry they're sick, and sorry for the mommy that is worrying about and caring for them all. You'll be in my prayers.

Sarise- Thanks! 3 actually made it to school today. They were the first 3 to get it and have been well for a few days now.

Bec- Thanks. Glad to be back.

Corine- It was actually all under control when I arrived home. My husband is quite amazing that way - and I certainly do count that as a huge blessing!

Farscaper- Symptoms include pretty much everything but we didn't have them all. (cough, sore throat, runny nose, aches, tiredness, etc., etc.) Most of my kids are actually fine now but we kept them home a bit longer because of the whole stigma that comes with the Swine Flu. And I agree - teachers are amazing to endure all of the germs that come their way from all the different households in a day!

Anaise- Thanks. I can always use a few extra prayers on my behalf. I actually had TWO neighbors come bring us dinner last night! And I'M not even sick! I am blessed.

Cari- For the most part... but not really. Everyone HAS had it, but 3 are better now. And only 2 need constant attention. (but that's not any different when those 2 aren't sick...)

my best friend had the swine flu last week and she is 26 weeks pregnant! She is doing much better now and the baby is still doing well too! I hope your kiddos get better soon and that you are able to keep from getting it. I have been hoping and praying that we won't get it too since we were exposed to it.

Maryanne- Wow. That would not be a fun time to come down with the flu. Glad to hear everything's okay!

SO- Seems like everyone's getting better. Thanks.

Gina- When you have a nice supply of movies it's not so terrible...

T5th- Did you have to ask? ;0)
