Update

Thanks so much for all of your well-wishes after my last post. Here's a quick update that's a bit more specific...

My 'adopted mom' had a brain tumor. It was successfully removed on Tuesday and we are awaiting results from the tumor's biopsy which are hopefully coming today. So far everything looks wonderful and mom is doing great. She actually seems just like herself - talking, walking and eating on her own.

Life is good.

Wow, sorry to hear about the tumor. I know exactly where you are right now. At the beginning of this year my nephew had a brain tumor removed. He's in fight mode now.

I hope and pray that everything works out fine and she recovers quickly.

I find it astonishing that a person can have her head opened on Tuesday and be alert and talking and eating as normal by the weekend!

I hope that the news continues to be great.

rory- Thanks so much. Prayers are all she asks for.

R&N- Thank you, it was. =0) So far the results are inconclusive which means we're another week out before finding out anything.

BTM- As soon as we find anything else out, I'll be sure to let you know.

Angela- You always make me feel like I'm amazing. Thanks for commenting!

Kristin- Thank you so much.

Gina- It is. Thanks.

T5th- It is appreciated. We'll take all the crossed fingers we can get.

Farscaper- She's actually doing amazingly well right now. She's pretty much completely back to her regular self, all things considered.

Anaise- You and me both! It has been nothing short of a miracle, really.

Corine- It went from uncontrollable crying to optimistic hope in a matter of days... we're not completely out of the woods yet, but things are looking good.
