Forecast: Sunny

NO PICTURE TODAY

(USE YOUR IMAGINATION)

Note to self:

Sunglasses and bangs are much more effective sunblock than the purchased kind and may cause strange-looking sunburns to appear on your face - the kind that make people look twice and giggle a little.

Do something about that next time you plan to be outside for any period of time.

I now see the wisdom and hidden meaning in your comment...ah, the long-term benefits of sunscreen! Whether natural or artificial...

Yes, many people did LOL when they saw my poor face.

chelle!-
It's faded now, you missed out! (whew...)

I need the SPF 50 type or I turn into a lobster...but did not as a teen. I think the sun is different in Utah.

farscaper-
But then you get hat-head. I guess the long-term benefits are worth it...

Oh Gerb, I can totally relate. I just got back from girls camp and didn't put on any sunscreen yesterday as we were going back and forth from the cabins to the parking lot to load everything. When I got home and looked in the mirror, I about died. One of my sweet children called me Rudolph and another one said I looked like a raccoon (I was wearing glasses just like you were). And the bang thing--one half of my forehead is red and other half is white. So I understand where you're coming from ... Did you get any comments at church today? :o)

That sounds like something a busy mother of 9 would do. I mean, who has time to apply sunscreen properly? :) At least you tried. :)

So glad it faded.
